Learning Priorities for New RVers (90 minutes)
This basic class is a must for the new or “gonna-be” RVer. Determine what knowledge is really essential in order to choose, operate and enjoy an RV. Learn how others use their RVs to enhance their personal lifestyle; hear descriptions of the variety of overnight accommodations, their facilities and amenities. RVing Made Easy (3 hours)
This 3-hour class answers the question - “Now that I’ve got it, how do I make it work?” Topics include: taking delivery of your RV, non-technical familiarization with the RV’s electric, propane and plumbing systems, equipping and furnishing an RV, conducting a shakedown trip, and tips on backing, leveling, hookup procedures, self-contained camping, and daily living. Students love this class!
Extended RV Travel (3 hours)
This 3-hour class is for those who are thinking about traveling in their RV for weeks or months at a time or who may be considering fulltime RVing. You will learn how to: select an RV with the features and accessories that compliment extended or fulltime RVing; accomplish your banking and bill paying while thousands of miles from home; arrange to have mail forwarded to you around the country; connect to the internet and send/receive e-mail as you travel; and how to obtain medical care and refill prescriptions when you are not in your home state. We will also discuss the security and maintenance of your home, your personal security while on the road, pros and cons of caravans, and more.
